As you guys would’ve heard, Typhoon Pepeng (international name Parma) pummeled Northern Luzon for almost a week. The storm dumped over a meter of water in some areas and has triggered landslides and flooding all over the Ilocos regions, Cagayan, Isabela, Benguet, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Ifugao, Mt. Province and Baguio City.
Halsema is now closed but payloaders are already on the site to fix the problem. Baguio is also isolated due to landslides along Kennon Road, Marcos Highway and Naguillian Road.
Expect these obstacles to clear in the coming days.

Any news about Sagada itself, Benj? Haven’t been able to contact my friends there so I’m a bit worried…

we’re planning to go to SAGADA by end of november with few friends…like a group of 10. just kinda worried coz of the recent typhoon. isn’t it dangerous to go there after a very devastating typhoon? am afraid that some waters are still kept by the trees in the forest and could just break away anytime when we get there, so as the falls and underground river.

Travel at your own risk, man. I’m not sure if the bus lines are operating.

Hi there!
I’m planning to travel with a friend and stay there for a month. Are there houses we can rent? Doesn’t have to be big though, just as long as it has kitchen and bathroom. How much does it go for?
Thank you!

Any updates on the road conditions from Banaue to Sagada and from Sagada to Baguio? Can an ordinary passenger van make it there?
Please advise
