  1. Do you have a complete package that includes transportation ( preferably take a flight instead of bus and the fastest way to get to Sagada ) and hotel (with own bathroom and airconditioned room )?
Travel for 2 from Manila for 2 or 3 nights only.
    Please email me directly.
    Thanks,
    Yna

  2. When you mean flight, I suppose you mean taking a helicopter?

The nearest airstrip is still a hundred fifty miles away.

  3. Hi Benj/Angel,

would you know if the rates for the tour vehicles have gone up as well? If so, may you please share with us the current rates?

    Thanks!

  4. Yna, trust me, you will not need an airconditioner…unless if you’d be brining an eskimo. ;p

  5. Please furnish me with info re the travel and tour package to Sagada, from pick-up point to destination, the lodge/inn where we will stay and the tour/activities package for a 3 nights/ 2 days stay plus the place where we can shop for souvenirs or visit best eating places in Sagada. Please e-mail the price per head for such a package. For 4 persons,my 3 sons and myself. We prefer to share same room with private T/B,TV not necessary, presence of a small cafe before bedtime. Please state if price includes free daily breakfast, lunch or dinner. Helps in preparing the budget.Thank you.

  9. Yna, a flight to Sagada? Are you kidding? If you have a helicopter, that would be possible. But the nearest airstrip is Baguio City which is about 100 or so miles away. You can take the bus via Banaue from Manila. Then take a jeep to Bontoc, then to Sagada. I think that is 3 rides. Or you can take the Sagada/Besao bus from Baguio City straight to Sagada. It’s 5 hours ride. There’s no need for airconditioning in Sagada, it’s naturally airconditioned inside and out all year round. I recommend to bring a jacket esp in Nov, Dec and Jan. DO NOT wear skimpy clothes and short shorts. Sagada people consider it insult.

  12. Hi, I will go up to Sagada next week. This may be a stupid question, hehe, but I’d like to ask: do I need to settle for guides for various spots? I hope to meet people there because I am traveling alone. Maybe we could share expenses. Thanks.

  19. thank you for the very useful information. But I am confused with the rates. Is the guide fee rate on a per head basis? We are planning to go there this April or May. Do we have to make a reservation for our accomodation? Can you recommend where is the best place to stay (security and amenities)? We are 4, My husband and 2 kids (ages 16 and 13).
    Thank you for your help.

    Comment by rosie cadiz — March 10, 2010 @ 1:51 pm

  20. It is PER GROUP if it is not stated as PER HEAD. :)

Yes, you have to make reservation especially since April and May are peak seasons. My recommendation is Residential Lodge. The link is on the sidebar.
