We just went to the small falls yesterday. You forgot to mention that when you descend the trail, there is a fork in the road with no signs, and you have to turn right to get to it. We originally turned left, but then a guy above told us that we were going the wrong way. If he hadn't been there, we would have been lost.

That's a crucial point that you forgot to mention.

For some reason, hiking trail forks in the Philippines do not often have signs telling you which way goes where, unlike in America and Europe. It's one of those things that defy common sense but will make you go crazy if you keep questioning it, because you can't expect efficiency here. We all know that of course.

Anyway, the waterfall was ok and nice. Also, you have to ask locals how to get there, cause there are no signs pointing there or even from the trail head. Why can't someone bother to put up a sign pointing there? I complain about things like that all the time, and when I do, I get told, "Hey! It's the Philippines!"
