The road is good for your car. The only rough road you would experience is the (Sagada-Bontoc "Y" road ) going up to Sagada. Be careful with the curves..bus drivers who regularly pass that road are skillful enough to pass safely. Travel with visible road. hmmm. i beleive Gasoline stations are limited so fill your tank full and if you want you could bring reserved fuel. There are also bus stop terminals for amenities you need.
