  1. Has anyone tried staying at Mapiya-aw Pension? I’m actually torn between this inn and the Residential Lodge.

  4. I tried making a very advance reservation (like 2 months in advance, just to make sure becasue the target date is a long weekend))in Residential Lodge for only one night. I was able to talk to Mrs. Daoas and she suggested that it would be nice to stay for two nights so that we could have more time to explore Sagada, which I completely understand. But since we still have plans in going to Batad, I just said that we only need to stay for one night. We ended our conversation with the understanding that I’ll just text her the details as to when we’ll arrive and the number of persons. I texted her. No reply. I waited a few days, I don’t want to make ‘kulit’. I called her again, as I understand, there were still vacancies for my target date. After our converstaion, I texted her again for the details. No reply again. After a few days, I texted her again. No reply. I called her but she was no longer answering my calls. I asked my friend to call her number on the same day, and she answered the phone. My friend learned that there is no longer any vacancy. I have been to Sagada twice already. The last visit, I even stayed at Mrs. Daoas and I really think that their place is a decent place to stay. BUT NOW, business is business, but in every business like this, one should have courtesy to potential customers. Simpleng courtesy lang po.

  5. Hi to all and belated Happy Easter.
Actually me and my classmates just leave sagada yesterday, and we stay in Residential Lodge from April 9 to 12, or 4d 3n (last year nagstay narin kami rito kaya alam naming highly recommended ang R.L). The private room were we occupied in the lodge have a good ambiance, clean and well ventilated parin(although malamig sa sagada),may common kitchen din po dun for the occupants to use kahit nasa underground pa kami
^-^. Tita Mary is very accomodating to us even we encounter few problems regarding reservation of rooms (nagpareserve kami for 8-9 people)dapat 9 kami pero 4 lang kaming unang nakarating nung april 9, at di rin makakasunod agad ang mga friends namin na supposedly will go to sagada on Good Friday kasi we discover na walang byahe ang mga bus going to sagada that day pala. In the end nasolusyonan naman yung problem. The lodge provide many kitchen utensils, so the occupants can cook their own food.
If ever we go again to sagada for the third time, i will again choose to stay in Residential Lodge^-^

  7. We spent 6 nights here @ the residential lodge! Tita Mary was very hospitable, evelyn was like a sister to us and Kuya Arnie was everybody’s kuya…It was like home. Enough to come back over and over again! I strongly and highly recommend this lodge. Thanks a lot residential lodge people, see you again on my next vacation, miss you all!
