Aside from VisitSagada.com, Pinoyexchange is one of the more comprehensive resource sites for people who plan on going to Sagada. The website is the largest online community in the Philippines and is also among the biggest worldwide. Pinoyexchange (or PEx for short ) boasts of a strong backpacker and traveler community for both international and local sojourns. The Sagada thread was created a few years ago and there is already over 1100 posts featuring tips, how-to’s and other relevant information regarding Sagada. Though there is arguably more information the thread, it may not be as easy to extract compared to the Visit Sagada website. Since it’s a thread, you may have to literally sift through a thousand posts to get your relevant information. At least here, you have the convenience of a well-indexed and topic-specific list of articles. But if you really want to delve deeper and do more research, PEx is definitely a resource worth looking up.

Benj planned out his trip almost exclusively from information that he obtained from the other people on the site. The details of commuting, hotel information and tour guide reservations have been repeatedly and generously shared on the thread. He actually credits Jenn for giving her the contact details of Mary Daoas for Residential Lodge. The bus schedules were courtesy of bad_chini2 and countless others have chipped in making him more prepared for what Sagada might throw at him. Now armed with the knowledge after two trips to Sagada in the past three years, Benj is one of the more active posters on the thread, always ready to assist those who may have questions.
Angel, the author of this smashing Visit Sagada Wordpress theme, benefited a lot from PEx as well as blogs of other people who have been to Sagada. He has also been to Sagada twice in the past three years and is currently considering another trip in the near future. Just like Benj, Angel has been very active in the Sagada thread.
